At CSR, we work hard to develop cultural competency among our staff. These skills ensure that we work well with people from a variety of backgrounds, and that we offer services and products inclusive of all people, regardless of their ethnic or racial background, age, gender, religion, or sexual orientation.
Our focus on cultural competency is not simply a smart marketing tool or short-lived fad. CSR developed a booklet, Guidelines for Developing Cultural Competencies, that describes what these skills are and why they are important, what important cultural factors our clients need to consider, and how to avoid common stereotypes.
