Research Assistant

Requirements:  Undergraduate degree in social or health sciences and 1-3 years’ professional experience. Must demonstrate strong writing and verbal skills as well as ability to work with data proficiently using MS Office applications and other statistical software packages, preferably SPSS. Position will also assist with data collection, analysis, synthesis and interpretation of qualitative and numerical data using statistical packages and techniques. Writing and/or presentation samples may be requested.

Criminal Justice Research Associate

Requirements:  Bachelor’s degree or higher in criminal justice or related field with 5+ years of related professional experience. Strongly prefer a candidate with knowledge and/or experience of the criminal justice system. In addition, should be able to demonstrate the ability to assist senior analysts with analysis of large datasets and other statistical analysis as needed using SPSS and write quality reports under the supervision of a senior analyst or task lead; must have the ability to convey work verbally to professionals at various levels.

Work site will vary between the home office (VA) and client site (D.C.). Must be able to pass a security clearance to maintain an offer of employment.

Criminal Justice Senior Research Associate

Requirements: Master’s degree or higher in criminal justice or related field with 5+ years of related professional experience. Strongly prefer a candidate with knowledge and/or experience of the criminal and/or juvenile justice system. Program experience at a state, local, or national level with Federal-funded programs a plus. In addition, should be able to demonstrate the ability to analyze large datasets and conduct other statistical analysis as needed using SPSS and write quality reports; must have the ability to convey work verbally to professionals at various levels.

US Citizenship required to work on U.S. Department of Justice contracts.
