Criminal Justice Senior Research Associate

Requirements: Master's degree or higher in criminal justice or related field with 5+ years related experience. Candidate must possess demonstrated ability to work with large datasets, conduct statistical analysis, examine trends, and write quality reports with minimal supervision; good analytical skills both verbally and in writing; ability to communicate effectively other than in writing; and ability to conduct public speaking to professionals at various levels. Strongly prefer analytical experience with background/knowledge of the criminal justice field. Must be able to demonstrate knowledge/experience with statistical software packages. Background/experience with performance measurement is a strong plus.

Work site will vary between the home office (VA) and client site (D.C.). Must be able to pass a security clearance.

Criminal Justice Research Assistant

Requirements: Undergraduate degree in criminal justice or related field. Possess demonstrated strong verbal and writing skills as well as demonstrated ability to work with data proficiently using MS Office applications and other statistical software packages. Position may also include providing technical assistance support to recipients of various criminal justice projects' funds. Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience in the juvenile justice and/or criminal justice fields are a major plus.
