Mr. Kim has almost 25 years of experience with federal and corporate cybersecurity regulations and requirements, design and management of IT infrastructure, project management of large IT contracts, and systems analysis and administration. He has worked for CSR since 2008 and has managed all of CSR’s media and information technology services since 2013.
Mr. Kim’s IT expertise includes business continuity/disaster recovery for IT services, infrastructure security management and training, and IT staff management and professional development. For CSR’s government contracts and other clients, he organized, expanded, and managed a highly skilled and adaptive software development team that specializes in dynamic Web sites and interactive Web-based applications. His successful implementations include a secured data collection and performance management systems for federal clients, providing full System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies. Mr. Kim designed and managed a robust security architecture to address federal government project requirements and safeguard the corporate infrastructure, creating a more resilient, efficient, and secure computing environment. He has initiated new corporate security policies, written detailed policy manuals, and designed an Intrusion Prevention System, along with managing security training, a restructuring of the corporate domain and Active Directory Services, deployment of a new backup strategy and solutions, and replacement of outdated systems.
Mr. Kim earned his bachelor’s degree at Virginia Tech. He holds several professional certifications, including Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), and Certified Novell Administrator (CNA).
