- 1978 CSR opens for business
- 1981 National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) contract for epidemiologic research awarded to CSR
- 1982 CSR begins child development practice with evaluation of Head Start
- 1987 CSR adds NIAAA National Alcohol Education Project (NAEP) alcohol research education project to portfolio
